Operating Room

This is a nine (9) month Operating Room program. The program is designed to prepare a nurse in providing care for the patient undergoing surgery. The program has a theory-based component where the nurse will learn the application of the Nursing Process in conjunction with the Standards of Patient Care and Operating Room Techniques. The Clinical component will assist the nurse in adapting to providing patient care, primarily as a circulating nurse and scrub nurse as necessary and as appropriate.
