Emergency Room

The program is designed to assist nurses to gain the knowledge and develop the skills necessary to function at a safe, effective level in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The program consists of both didactic and clinical components. A specialized nine-week program (divided into 2 parts) for nurses assigned to the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM). Part I is three weeks long and Part 2 is six weeks long. Each part has both didactic and clinical components.
