Optometry
If your child wears eyeglasses or contact lenses but they did not have it with them when they were admitted to the juvenile hall, it is possible to bring them to the juvenile hall. You may hand them over to the Probation or Nursing staff to evaluate and provide them to the youth. Health Services will also be providing the contact lenses solution for washing and storage.
As long as the prescription is not over 1 year old, a prescription can be emailed out. Please contact the Optometry Clinic at 323-226-8737 during the hours of Monday – Friday from 7 am to 3 pm.
