Occupational Therapy Student and Residency Programs

Our fast-paced inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation environments at Rancho provide Occupation Therapy (OT) Students and Residents the opportunity to establish clinical expertise, develop and implement new programs, engage in research, and practice their leadership skills. As members of a teaching facility, the Occupational Therapy staff routinely mentor OT and OTA Students as well as OT Doctoral Residents.

OT Level I & II Students/OTA Students

Fieldwork placements as part of an Occupational Therapy degree program are available to Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant students. Assignments must be arranged through the school’s Academic Fieldwork Coordinator.

OT Residents

The Occupational Therapy Department at Rancho offers OT doctoral students a clinical residency experience at a leading rehabilitation center with a rich history of clinical expertise, innovation and research. The OT Department has been a leader in occupation-based, client-centered and evidence-based practice and we are pleased to mentor graduate level residents with the goal of establishing clinical expertise in a specific area of practice.
