Rehab Therapy Professional Visitor Program
The Rehabilitation Therapy Department Professional Visitors Program at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center provides tours and other customized experiences to visiting healthcare professionals from other countries as well as the United States. We offer tours that include a general overview of our facility and the services provided by each therapy discipline. Tours are customized depending upon the interests of the individual or group. Each discipline offers a variety of specialty areas of focus.
Physical Therapy Department focus experiences might include a tour of Rancho’s Pathokinesiology Laboratory (which both conducts research and provides clinical instrumented diagnosis of complex gait impairments) or the Center for Applied Rehabilitation Technology (CART). Other opportunities are extensive instructional programs that could include shortened versions of Rancho Gait Courses. All tours can be tailored to the needs of the requesting party.
