With 2022 in the past, the My Health LA Annual Report is now available to the public. This report provides detailed insights into Fiscal Year 2021-22 operations of MHLA and serves as a comprehensive summary of operations and metrics for the public, policy makers, participants, and other stakeholders.
Here are some of the highlights of MHLA’s eight operational year:
- MHLA ended its programmatic year with over 94,000 uninsured Los Angeles County residents enrolled in the program
- Over 77,000 individuals disenrolled from MHLA with the vast majority disenrolled due to the Older Adult Medi-Cal expansion
- 79% of MHLA participants renewed or reenrolled in the program for Fiscal Year 2022-23
The Annual Report draws its information from a variety of sources including Department of Health Services systems, the American Insurance Administrators and One-e-App system.
This report also highlights the program’s expansion of services compared to prior years. MHLA saw a deepened partnership with community pharmacies for medication distribution, and with LA County Department of Public Health and Department of Mental Health for substance use disorder treatment and mental health prevention/treatment respectively.
