MHLA Community Partner Connection Newsletter
Community Partners,
We hope your 2023 is starting off well. The annual report from FY 21-22 is now up on the MHLA website, and a shorter, snapshot report will be up soon as well. Please take a look to read about enrollment, utilization and more.
We have one big announcement on enrollment for 2023 – participants’ enrollment will be automatically extended through the end of the program. We will continue to process denials for individuals who do not qualify for the program, but we will no longer be disenrolling individuals who do not renew on time. They will automatically be renewed until 2024. CPs will no longer have to process renewals. Please look out for a provider bulletin on the topic and reach out to your program advocate with any questions.
The California Department of Health Care Services has started holding meetings about the adult Medi-Cal expansion. MHLA leadership are participating in the monthly sessions and will pass along information about the roll out.
Thank you for everything and please send us stories about what you all are doing in 2023! We would love to include more updates from CPs in the newsletter. – Anna Gorman and the MHLA team
