There are several important dates related to the Medi-Cal Adult Expansion and the My Health LA program sunsetting. As a recap, here are some important dates we feel that our Community Partners should be aware of:

• • November 30, 2023
    • • Deadline to submit requests to add health care providers or make edits to the MHLA Master Provider Database. All requests must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM Thursday, November 30, 2023.
      • For any urgent requests past this date please contact Philip Barragan at pbarragan@dhs.lacounty.gov.
  • December 31, 2023
    • • Eligibility Review Unit monitoring ends
      • All One-e-App user accounts become “Read Only”
      • Last day to make medical home change request.
      • Last day to submit new eConsults for non-DHS managed care patients
  • January 31, 2024
    • • MHLA program ends. All calls to the Member Services line (844-744-6452) will be redirected via voice mail message.
      • DHS Central Fill will cease providing MHLA Pharmacy services and will be the last day to fill prescriptions. This will also be the last day to submit CP Pharmacy dispensary and prescription claims.
  • February 2024
    • • February 1, 2024: Technical support for eConsult will be handled by Enterprise Help Desk (323-409-8000). For assistance with system and account issues, please refer inquiries to them.
      • February 15, 2024: All Mental Health Discharge Reports must be submitted, no exceptions.
  • March 31, 2024
    • • Final MGF and Dental billings must be submitted; any submitted past this date will be rejected.
      • Last day to submit Encounter data.
      • One-e-App read-only access ends and users will no longer be able to access the app.
  • April 30, 2024
    • • Final MGF payments will be made.
  • June 30, 2024
    • • Final dental payments will be made.
