Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH) has updated information regarding expanded COVID-19 vaccination. As of June 22, 2022, children older than 6 months can now get the COVID-19 vaccine. There are over 900 locations across LA County that offer vaccines for children ages 6 months and older. For more information regarding pediatric vaccines and boosters, and to find a vaccine site, Los Angeles residents can visit VaccinateLACounty.com or VacunateLosAngeles.com (Spanish).
Here’s what parents and guardians need to know before vaccinating their children:
- The COVID-19 vaccine is free.
- If you have health insurance, bring your health insurance card. If you do not have health insurance, don’t worry—vaccines are free with or without health insurance!
- You will not be asked about your immigration status when getting a vaccine.
