Occupational Therapy is a healthcare profession that helps people whose lives have been affected by an illness or injury.  As Occupational Therapists (OT), we address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges:  As our patients, you will learn or regain the skills you will need to participate in your valued daily activities.  People who benefit from Occupational Therapy range from the tiniest of newborn infants to senior citizens.

Established at LA General Medical Center during the 1940s, Occupational Therapists proudly carry on the tradition of care to generations of LA County citizens.  As part of this Level 1 Trauma Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and Verified Burn Center, our OTs are experienced in treating a multitude of complicated diagnoses.  Working toward achieving the best outcome, we collaborate with you, your family members, and your healthcare team.
