Health Services hospitals are among the top providers of emergency and trauma services in Los Angeles County. Health Services hospital emergency rooms are open 24/7 and staffed by physicians trained in Emergency Medicine. Health Services also operates two pediatric emergency rooms to meet the special needs of children.
Hospital emergency rooms are often crowded and not appropriate settings for the treatment of minor illnesses that can be more quickly addressed in Health Services Urgent Care settings. A list of Urgent Care Centers can be accessed from the “Services” tab on the main homepage. These facilities offer extended weekday and weekend hours.
