TARGET AUDIENCE:
LVN interested in becoming IV and blood withdrawal certified

FEE:
Free to all Los Angeles County employees

CE Credit:
This class is approved for 36 hours of continuing education credits.
Attendance for the entire session is mandatory for certification. There are no makeup classes.

CLASS REGISTRATION:
Obtain a Training/Class Application form by going to:

HANDOUTS:
In an effort to be environmentally friendly, handouts will be available by going to http://myladhs.lacounty.gov
Click on Clinical Resources tab located on top bar ofpage.
Select Allied Health/Central Education Training. Handouts will beposted approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the course.
Attendees can download the files into their laptop/flash drive prior to attending the course.
Internet access is limited on campus. Handouts will not be provided in class. Attendees are welcome to print out their own online material.

NEW:
The Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians requires a $20 certification fee for each participant.
Fee will be collected the last day of training. Checks must be made payable to the ?BVNPT?.
