On October 16, 2023, Dr. Hrishikesh Belani, MD, MPH, AAHIVS, a primary care physician at LA Health Services specializing in HIV primary care, was interviewed by Marc Brown for the Eyewitness Newsmakers segment on Channel 7 Eyewitness News. Dr. Belani spoke about the advancement that has occurred in healthcare available to individuals who have been recently diagnosed with HIV and those that have been living with HIV for many years. He noted that healthcare advances in medication are allowing people with HIV to live longer, healthier lives.
