LA County DHS has launched a campaign to get more patients signed up for the patient portal. MHLA participants who have received any DHS services (specialty, urgent or hospital care) can access the portal. It is another way that they can see their medical information.

The LA Health Portal, formerly called LA Health Portal, is a way for patients to securely access their healthcare information from their electronic medical record in ORCHID. The information that can be accessed includes lab results, radiology results, appointments, medications, visit summaries, clinician notes, etc. Patients can download the Health Services branded LA Health Portal apps for Apple iOS and Android devices and join ORCHID-integrated video visits. With secure messaging, patients can ask a question to their healthcare team or doctor, request medication refills and request appointments. LA Health Portal gives patients a new way to manage their healthcare outside of the traditional office visit.

Check out the https://dhs.lacounty.gov/lahealthportal/, which includes information and resources to help patients maximize the benefits of the app.
