LA Health Services is participating in the Safe Youth Zone initiative, which provides temporary havens for youth facing potentially threatening situations that need a place to go. The program specializes in helping youth in danger of human trafficking or abuse and aims to prevent young people from returning to unsafe spaces where they may be subjected to abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation.
