Who We Are – Health Center
Glendale Health Center is part of the San Fernando Valley Health Center Group under the Ambulatory Care Network in Health Services. We are co-located with the Department of Public Health. Services are delivered in a safe, patient-centered environment that is accessible to the entire Glendale and surrounding communities.
Jennifer Chen, M.D., M.P.H.
Jennifer Chen is the Director/Medical Director for the San Fernando Valley Health Center Group, including Mid-Valley Comprehensive Health Center, San Fernando Health Center, West Valley Health Center, and Glendale Health Center. Dr. Chen completed her medical school education at Tufts University School of Medicine, and her residency at UCLA/Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Her leadership experience spans the Veterans Administration and LA County healthcare systems, where she remains committed to delivering high-quality care in safety-net settings.
Leila Adriano, RN, MSN-ED, PHN
Leila Adriano is the Clinical Nursing Director for the San Fernando Valley Health Center Group, including Mid-Valley Comprehensive Health Center, San Fernando Health Center, Glendale Health Center, and West Valley Health Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Manila, Philippines and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. Leila brings experience gained from her roles at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, High Desert Regional Health Center, and the Health Services Administration Office of Nursing Affairs. With a well-rounded background spanning clinical, administrative and management, and educational roles, she is highly experienced in multiple aspects of nursing. She is passionate about leading the nursing team to provide extraordinary care.
Jessica Licea
Jessica Licea is the Assistant Director for the San Fernando Valley Health Center Group which oversees Mid-Valley Comprehensive Health Center, San Fernando Health Center, Glendale Health Center, and West Valley Health Center. Jessica has an extensive background in Human Resources with over 20 years of experience and has a proven track record of successfully managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management. Jessica brings her prior experience to successfully manage facilities and project management, space planning and implement strategies that align with focusing on providing extraordinary care for the patients and communities served through the SFVHCG. She is a strong communicator, a skilled problem solver, and a collaborative team player, always seeking to drive organizational success.
