High Desert Regional Health Center (HDRHC) opened its new, state-of-the-art facility in June of 2014. Prior to moving to the new site, the clinic was located at the former High Desert Hospital site in west Lancaster. HDRHC serves patients in the Antelope Valley region of north Los Angeles County, including the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale and the surrounding communities. HDRHC is part of is part of High Desert Health Center Group, a group of five clinics in the Antelope Valley area run by the Health Services (Health Services) Ambulatory Care Network (ACN).


Director​

Lee Dunham is the High Desert Health Center Group Director. He is responsible for operations at the five Los Angeles County clinics in the Antelope Valley: High Desert Regional Health Center, Antelope Valley Health Center, Lake Los Angeles Community Clinic, Littlerock Community Clinic and South Valley Health Center. Mr. Dunham has been the Director since 2021.

Mr. Dunham received a Master of Science Degree in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Jacksonville University. He is honored to have served in both the United States Airforce and United States Army for over 13 years.


Interim Medical Director​

Dr. David Campa is the Interim Medical Director for the High Desert Health Center Group. After graduating from the UC San Francisco School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He joined Health Services in 2012 as the Director of Primary Care for the Ambulatory Care Network. In 2019, he became a member of the High Desert Health Center Group’s leadership team with whom he works to provide high quality, patient-centered health care to Antelope Valley communities.


Interim Nursing Director​

Cristian Puiu is the High Desert Health Center Group Interim Clinical Nursing Director since January 2022. He is responsible for the Nursing Department at all five County clinics in the Antelope Valley.

Mr. Puiu has received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University. He is Board Certified with ANCC in Ambulatory Care Nursing.


Assistant Administrator​

Collins U. Nwadiogbu is the Assistant Administrator for High Desert Health Center Group providing healthcare needs to Antelope Valley communities with Ambulatory Outpatient Surgery, Urgent Care Clinic, Primary Care Medical Home, Specialty Clinics, Diagnostics and Ancillary support services. With over 20 years of healthcare services experience at Ambulatory Care Network; Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Mr. Nwadiogbu provides leadership in the coordination of Therapy Services, medical and non-medical service operations and support activities, providing directions to Centralized Contract Monitoring Division, Budgets and Capital Assets Medical Equipment for HDRHC.
