This year, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center (OVMC) celebrated Nurses Week (May 6-12) by holding a poster board contest. The theme was, “You Make a Difference, We’re Rooted in Strength.” The nursing staff demonstrated the important qualities of being patient, innovative, imaginative, inspirational, and working as a team, representative of OVMC’s True North values. They were acknowledged for the hard work, compassion, and dedication they provide to our patients every day. Congratulations to all the winners, and cheers to the OVMC team for a job well done!
