Keep Your Benefits

Food
We care about your health. Not getting enough to eat, or not enough nutritious food, can make it even harder to stay healthy. There are different types of food programs in Los Angeles County and many people don't know that they can get help.

Medi‑Cal provides free or low‑cost health coverage so you can see a doctor, get medicine, and stay healthy. If you get Medi‑Cal, you must renew your Medi-Cal every year to keep your health coverage.

Everyone has a different renewal date, so check your mail for your renewal form and send it back right away. When it’s your time to renew, you can:

    1. Mail the renewal form back to Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) using the envelope they sent you.
    2. Go online to the DPSS website at BenefitsCal.com to Create an account and renew.
    3. Call DPSS at (866) 613-3777 for help.

We Can Help Too
Our Patient Financial Services (PFS) teams can help you fill out and submit your renewal packet. They can also help patients who do not have Medi‑Cal apply for coverage. See below for the PFS center closest to you.
