Hubert H. Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center opened its doors on April 26, 1976 as one of the six comprehensive health centers operated by the County of Los Angeles. The facility was named in honor of Hubert H. Humphrey, who served as Vice President of the United States under President Lyndon B. Johnson from 1965 to 1969.

For more than 40 years, Hubert H. Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center has served patients in South Los Angeles and surrounding communities. Our focus on high-quality care ensures top performance and accountability as we become the medical home for many Los Angeles County residents.  Our Health Center is part of the South Los Angeles Health Center Group under the Health Services’ Ambulatory Care Network. We deliver a full range of primary, specialty and urgent care services in a safe, patient-centered environment that is accessible to the entire community.

Hubert H. Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center is located at 5850 S. Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90003.  The parking lot is located on the south side of the facility with entrances on Main St. and Woodlawn Ave.
