Who We Are – Health Center
H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center is part of the Health Services Ambulatory Care Network and represents the Metro Health Center Group (MHCG). MHCG is geographically responsible for providing access to health care services for underserved residents in Inglewood and South Los Angeles Communities.
Director
Michael Mills serves as the Director of the Metro Health Care Group (MHCG) which includes H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center and the DHS Adult Medicine Clinic at Curtis Tucker Health Center. He directs the operations of primary care, specialty care and urgent care services. Prior to serving in this position he directed, the operations of the LA General Medical Center Violence Intervention Program (VIP). In that role, he planned, organized, and directed daily operations of the VIP, which included the Center for the Vulnerable Child, the Sexual Assault Center, the Elder Dependent Adult Abuse Program, Community-Based Assessment and Treatment Center, LA General East San Gabriel Valley Satellite Medical Hub, and the Los Angeles County Elder Abuse Forensic Center. Mr. Mills also served as the Assistant Administrator for Probation Health Services with Health Services. Mr. Mills has dedicated his career to helping at-risk children and underserved populations in Los Angeles County to access high quality health care. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chapman College and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California.
Medical Director
Dr. Rona Molodow serves as the Medical Director of the Metro Health Care Group (MHCG) which includes H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center and the DHS Adult Medicine Clinic at Curtis Tucker Health Center. She is a pediatrician with a depth of experience working on behalf of children. She earned her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Southern California and her medical degree from the University of California at San Diego. She completed her pediatric training at the University of California at Los Angeles, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Molodow joined the pediatric faculty at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in 1995 and acted as Associate Residency Director for the UCLA Pediatric Training Program. Additionally, Dr. Molodow served as the Chair of Olive View’s Graduate Medical Education Committee. She was also Chair of Olive View’s Risk Management Committee and past President of that facility’s Professional Staff Association. Dr. Molodow is boarded in General Pediatrics and in Child Abuse Pediatrics and was Director of Olive View’s Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect and Foster Care clinics.
Nursing Director
Shirlisa Johnson serves as the Nursing Director of the Metro Health Care Group (MHCG) which includes H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center and the DHS Adult Medicine Clinic at Curtis Tucker Health Center. She completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach and received her master degree in Nursing from California State University, Dominquez Hills, Carson. Shirlisa Johnson, RN/MSN is the Clinical Nursing Director at H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center and Curtis Tucker Primary Care Clinic. She is responsible for the planning and direction of all nursing activities, including staffing and training. Prior to this role, Ms. Johnson worked as a Nurse Manager at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and prior to that worked as a Nurse Manager at H. Claude Hudson Comprehension Health Center.
Assistant Director
Jerri Flowers serves as the Assistant Director of the Metro Health Care Group (MHCG) which includes H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center and the DHS Adult Medicine Clinic at Curtis Tucker Health Center. Ms. Flowers has an extensive background in Health Information Management, Patient Safety Culture, Business Operations, Patient Relations, Program Development, and Personnel Management. Ms. Flowers has served Health Services, for over 45 years.
