Patient Services
Primary care services at High Desert Regional Health Center (HDRHC) include care for adults and children. Primary Care services are provided through the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model where your medical home team coordinates your care regardless of the setting. Urgent Care services are available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. seven days per week. HDRHC also provides medical and surgical specialty care, including outpatient surgery. Laboratory, radiology and pharmacy services are located on-site, as well as other ancillary diagnostic and treatment services.
On the recommendation of your primary care provider, you may be referred to a specialist, such as a cardiologist, urologist or dermatologist, for treatment when you have a more complex medical condition. For example, if you have a complex heart condition, you might be referred to a cardiologist. Some specialists may be located outside of the Antelope Valley. These specialists work with your primary care provider to manage your care and make sure you get the treatment you need.
