The interview session for Fall 2020 applicants has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The selection of applicants for Fall 2020 will be based on the point system excluding points from the Interview/Communication Assessment.

College of Nursing and Allied Health

The College prepares students for employment, professional development, and/or advancement within Los Angeles County. The College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The College has two academic divisions:

  • The School of Nursing - Offers a prelicensure Associate of Science Degree in nursing (ADN) program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). For more information about this program:
  • The Education and Consulting Services - Approved by the BRN as a nursing continuing education provider offers:
    • Continuing education programs and classes for nursing professionals and ancillary staff
    • Professional advancement courses for nursing professionals
    • Credit and noncredit programs and classes for allied health personnel. For more information about this program click here

Accreditation and Approval

The Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, 10 Commercial Blvd., Suite 204, Novato, CA 94949, (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The School of Nursing is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) as a prelicensure program. The Education and Consulting Service Division is approved by the BRN as a continuing education provider.
