The Safe Harbor TRC’s mission is to promote healing, recovery, and growth for trauma survivors and their families through holistic, integrated, community-centered, and evidence-based services steeped in a social justice framework. The Safe Harbor TRC recognizes that recovery from trauma includes addressing multiple domains that include physical, mental, and emotional health, over an extended period.

Helping survivors of crime and their families heal, recover, and grow from trauma through holistic, community and culturally centered, evidence-based services within a social justice framework.

We provide confidential services free of charge to survivors of crime and/or their families based on individual needs and interests:

  • Mental Health Therapy
  • Medication Management
  • Case Management
  • Assertive Outreach
  • Assisting with Medical Services
  • Substance Use Disorder
  • Legal Aid
  • Housing Referrals
  • Employment Services
  • Food
  • Crisis Management

We do not turn away any individuals based on insurance or immigration status.

Individuals, as well as their families and loved ones, are eligible if they have experienced:

  • Crime-related physical violence
  • Sexual assault or abuse
  • Domestic violence
  • Human trafficking
  • War or other conflict crimes that led to seeking asylum in the U.S.
  • Many other circumstances may apply
