The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship is a clinically and academically rigorous program with the goal of training physicians to be clinicians, educators and investigators. The program has an emphasis in preparing physicians who can confidently manage a broad spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions.

The program is accredited by the ACGME and offers training in a variety of environments, including:

  • Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, one of the main hospitals of the Los Angeles County Department of Health, providing care to the medically underserved population
  • Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest health care organizations in Southern California
  • City of Hope, an internationally recognized National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center
