
ANDREA TURNER, JD
Dr. Andrea Turner is an accomplished health care executive with over 20 years of experience that includes legal and clinical work that focuses on civil rights and health care disparities within vulnerable populations. She is also a veteran with over eight years of honorable service in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to serving as the CEO of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Turner was the Chief Operating Officer for Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, where she led and executed several important initiatives such as the patient-centered Comprehensive Oncology and Imaging Center, seismic retrofit and implementation and optimization of an Electronic Health Record. She developed and implemented governance programs to address workplace violence and promoted and instituted a department focused on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIS). Dr. Turner also served as the Operations Chief leading the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 response for the City and County of San Francisco.
Dr. Turner is Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology. She has a Bachelor of-Science in Health Administration, a Master’s in Business Administration, Jurisprudence Doctor, and an Executive Jurisprudence Doctorate.

JASON BLACK, DNP, MBA, NP-C
Jason Black, DNP, MBA, NP-C is the Chief Nursing Officer at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He comes to Harbor-UCLA with over 25 years of experience that has included holding significant leadership roles in nursing, hospital operations, and management consulting. He has served as CNO and/or Chief Operating Officer (COO) at several Southern California hospitals including West Anaheim Medical Center, Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center and Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital. In these leadership roles and his nearly 10 years of experience in consulting with Deloitte and The Advisory Board, he has dedicated himself to improving quality, efficiency of care, and staff engagement.
Jason received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University, a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from the University of Southern California. He also earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership from Case Western Reserve University.

GRISELDA GUTIERREZ, MD
Griselda Gutierrez, MD is the Chief Medical Officer at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Gutierrez is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has provided over 20 years of distinguished service at Harbor-UCLA that has included holding several important leadership roles. She previously served as Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics, Chief of the Division of Gynecology, and Interim Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since January 2016, Griselda has served as Associate Medical Director of Outpatient Services. In this role, she envisioned and successfully led the strategic transformation of Harbor-UCLA ambulatory care, enabling and facilitating our provider and nursing staff to make significant and necessary improvements in clinical quality, patient experience, and operational efficiency. In addition to leadership, Griselda is an active and accomplished clinician and surgeon, performing complex gynecological operations.
Griselda received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and her medical degree from UCLA-Geffen School of Medicine. She did her internship and residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology here at Harbor-UCLA and was a Fellow in the California Health Care Foundation’s Health Care Leadership Program.
