Do you need help getting to your medical appointments? As a Health Services patient, you have many options to help you get to your doctor’s office. If you don’t have your own private car, a family member who can drive you and public transportation is not possible, call your clinic to find out what option is best for you. Below are the transportation resources available to Health Services patients.
L.A. Care Patients with full scope Medi-Cal are eligible for رایگان rides to and from their clinic using L.A. Care’s transportation partner, Call the Car.
Call L.A. Care to get connected to a Call the Car representative that will assist you in reserving a رایگان ride at (888)-839-9909. Please have this information available:

Health Net Patients with full scope Medi-Cal are eligible for رایگان rides to and from their clinic using Health Net’s transportation partner, ModivCare.
To reserve your رایگان ride, call ModivCare at (855)-253-6863. Please have this information available:

- Home address where you will be picked up
- Clinic appointment location and details
Molina Patients with full scope Medi-Cal are eligible for رایگان rides to and from their clinic using Molina’s transportation partner, American Logistics.
To reserve your رایگان ride, call American Logistics at (844)-292-2688. Please have this information available:
- Your Medi-Cal number
- Home address where you will be picked up
- Clinic appointment location and details
Access provides quality public transportation for people with disabilities in Los Angeles County. If you can walk on your own, you may be eligible for FREE, shared transportation using Access buses and trains. Access vehicles are in service and on the same schedule as most buses in Los Angeles County. Travel time will be similar to a fixed-route bus.
You may still qualify for Access benefits even if you are not disabled. To find out if you’re eligible for رایگان transportation through Access, please call (800)-883-1295.
Health Services has teamed up with Uber and Lyft to provide رایگان rides for patients who are NOT eligible for any of the transportation options listed above and who need a ride to or from their clinic appointments.
You must contact your clinic to reserve this ride. Please call your doctor, nurse, or social worker to find out if you’re eligible for Uber/Lyft rides to your clinic appointments.
Transportation guidelines during COVID-19:
- Do not ride if you have COVID-19 or are experiencing coughing, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath.
- Always wear a face mask during your ride.
- Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the car.
- Always wear your mask.
- Don’t sit up front and open the windows when possible.
