Cancer Screening, Prevention and Treatment

Cancer screening is an important part of taking care of your health. Going to the doctor for regular screening for cancer in the breasts, cervix, uterus (womb), and other reproductive organs—is important for finding any issues. Early detection is the very best protection to finding cancer and ensuring the best possible treatment and recovery.
We provide routine screening and treatment for breast cancer (mammograms), cervical cancer (Pap and HPV test) and other reproductive cancers. Our highly skilled care team provides helpful counseling and education to help you understand your personal risk for certain types of cancer, such as family history, age, genetics.
Screening is confidential and available at no cost to you.
If you do not have insurance, you are underinsured or want to ensure your care stays private, our clinic team can help sign you up for Family PACT, a California program that provides these services for free, if you qualify.
Prevention
We believe in preventing cancer as much as possible. Regular screening is an important part of preventing cancer. Many cancers can be prevented if screening finds abnormal cells early and treatment can occur before they become cancer.
We also offer the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, which helps prevent cervical cancer (cancer in the cervix). The HPV vaccine is recommended at age 11 or 12 years. It can be given as early as 9 years and up to age 45 years. If you had an abnormal cervical cancer screening test (Pap or HPV test), you are still eligible for the HPV vaccine. Talk with our care team to see if the HPV vaccine is right for you and your children.
