\u00a0<\/span>Established in 1985,\u00a0<\/span>and continuously funded by the State of California,\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0USC- Rancho Alzheimer\u2019s Disease\u00a0<\/span>Center at Rancho<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is a joint effort between the Health Services (DHS) and University of Southern California (USC). Much of the research is focus<\/span>ed on accurately diagnosing\u00a0<\/span>dementia<\/span>\u00a0and identification of underlying etiology<\/span>, improving the overall delivery of healthcare to patients<\/span>\u00a0and their care partners<\/span>, and educating professionals in providing culturally sensitive\u00a0<\/span>and appropriate\u00a0<\/span>care to minority patients and families.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The\u00a0<\/span>USC\/Rancho California\u00a0<\/span>Alz<\/span>heimer\u2019s Disease\u00a0<\/span>Center\u00a0<\/span>(CADC)\u00a0<\/span>accepts referrals from agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers. As an affiliate of the U<\/span>SC Alzheimer\u2019s Disease\u00a0<\/span>Center<\/span>\u00a0(USC ADC) and the USC Memory and Aging Center<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>the USC-<\/span>Rancho\u00a0<\/span>CADC also serves as a referral site<\/span>\u00a0for clinical trials<\/span>\u00a0and other\u00a0Alzheimers\u00a0and related dementia research studies being conducted through these centers<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
