The Department of Surgery at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center serves inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on providing specialized services for persons with disabilities. Specialties include diabetes amputee; pressure ulcer management and plastic surgery for wound repair; orthopedic surgery for spinal injury, stroke and adult brain injury; gynecology; urology, ophthalmology and neuro optometry; otolaryngology; post-polio and pathokinesiology; surgical arthritis; and general surgery.
