MHLA Community Partner Connection Newsletter
Dear Community Partners,
Happy Holidays!
We are about to begin our final calendar year of My Health LA. This is a bittersweet moment, as we celebrate the fact our participants will all qualify for full-scope Medi-Cal and lament the sunsetting of such an impactful program. Throughout 2023, the MHLA team will be providing you all with important information about the sunsetting and will be reaching out to you for help. We hope to take the lessons learned from the previous waves of Medi-Cal expansion to make this the smoothest one yet. Please let us your program advocate know if you have input or ideas– we want to hear from you.
We hope you all have a restful and joyous holiday season, and we look forward to our partnership throughout 2023.
– Anna Gorman and the MHLA team
Have a topic you want to see explored, an event that should be highlighted, or an article we should include? We would like to feature at least one CP in each of our editions in 2023. Contact jsampana@dhs.lacounty.gov with ideas.
