More than 14,000 My Health LA participants – more than 10% of the enrollees – will be due for renewal on August 31. To prepare, we encourage CPs to conduct outreach to remind participants of their due date. We also recommend that enrollers help participants complete their renewals early. The large number of renewals is because last year, due dates for renewals due in March to July 2020 were extended to August 31, 2020 because of COVID-19.  This resulted in a much higher volume of renewals to be processed in August for some Community Partners. Those participants that renewed their application with the extended August 31, 2020 due date will now have an August due date each year. As a result, Community Partners should expect the same high influx of renewals each August. As a reminder, participants can renew up to 90 days before their renewal date. Please allow ample time to renew these MHLA participants for the coming year.
