The Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County is holding a Policy Café breakfast event on Friday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. During the event, California State Senator and Public Utilities Commissioner Martha Guzman Aceves will discuss the digital divide in Los Angeles County and how it impacts community members living in low-income, urban neighborhoods. The speakers will share ways to overcome the divide, which is evidenced by issues of internet coverage, speed and access. The topic is critical, given how important connectivity and digital access have been during the COVID-19 pandemic.
