Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center is part of the Health Services Ambulatory Care Network Coastal Health Center Group. Services are delivered in a safe, patient-centered environment that is accessible to the entire community.
Director
Jeffrey Barbosa, MD is the Director/Medical Director for Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center, Bellflower Health Center, Torrance Health Center, and Wilmington Health Center. Dr. Barbosa received his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Department of Family Medicine. He also completed a one-year faculty development/administrative fellowship at Harbor-UCLA, focusing on Quality Improvement.
Nursing Director
Marion Thornton-White, RN, is the Clinic Nursing Director at the Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center, Hubert Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center, Bellflower Health Center, Torrance Health Center, and Wilmington Health Center. She is responsible for the planning and direction of all nursing activities, including staffing and training. Prior to this role, Ms. Thornton-White worked as a Nurse Manager at Hubert Humphrey Comprehensive Health center and as a Public Health Nurse for the CHDP/ Foster Care Program and the Black Infant Health Program. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing
Assistant Administrator
Thuy Banh, MPH is the Assistant Administrator at the Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center, Bellflower Health Center, Torrance Health Center, and Wilmington Health Center. Prior to this role, Ms. Banh completed a Health Services Management Fellowship at Health Services and an administrative internship at the Department of Public Health. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from UCLA
