LA General Medical Center is the cornerstone of the safety net for the largest county in the United States. As one of the largest public hospitals in the U.S., we are the busiest Level 1 trauma center, and one of only three burn units in Los Angeles County. LA General is at the cutting edge of innovation in the safety net. We have won awards for care innovations in primary care, in-home care delivery, and for our pandemic response. We are home to one of the largest GME training centers in the U.S., with over 950 residents and fellows, representing nearly 1% of all postgraduate trainees in the U.S. We also serve as the primary teaching hospital for the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine.<\/p>\n

Adult Primary Care Relief Physician<\/h4>\n

The LA general Medical Center, Health System Leader Fellowship is a 1-year, non-ACGME certified program sponsored by LA general Medical Center to develop the next generation of clinical quality leaders. The Health System Leader Fellowship is a unique academic experience for physicians interested in pursuing careers in quality improvement and health care leadership.
