Quentin O’Brien
CEO, Ambulatory Care Network

Quentin O’Brien has worked for nearly thirty years to help ensure access to health care for all individuals in Los Angeles regardless of ability to pay.  He is currently the Chief Executive Officer for the Ambulatory Care Network of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services where he oversees twenty four health centers serving nearly 300,000 empaneled patients and Juvenile Court Health Services.  The ACN provides Patient Centered Medical Homes where patients’ medical, mental health, substance use and social services needs are met by a team of caring individuals and connections to other County departments and community providers. Mr. O’Brien previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for the ACN and served as Director of Health and Mental Health Services for the Los Angeles LGBT CenterHe has been a Commissioner on the Commission on HIV and a Board Member for the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles Countywhere he advocated with other leaders for funding for medically underinsured patients.
