[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]4th-Year Electives are offered by the Department of Pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and the UCLA School of Medicine. UCLA medical students are given first priority for these clerkships. When there is space available after the UCLA medical students have gone through their scheduling program, the clerkships are open to 4th-year medical students from other medical schools.<\/p>\n

Students interested in participating in one of these courses must visit the\u00a0UCLA visiting medical student website<\/a>\u00a0for application information.<\/p>\n

This information should accompany the original completed clerkship application which must be signed by your Student Affairs Office and affixed with the medical school seal. Applications must be completed and sent to the Course Coordinator no less than six weeks prior to the start of a rotation. All clerkships are 3 weeks in duration.
