In 2022, we returned to much needed face time. We now have a hybrid system in which our didactics are in person at Harbor UCLA Medical Center but we have our residents at the other sites zoom in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]For the first 6-7 weeks of the academic year, we hold a neuro-emergency \/ intro lecture series. The remainder of the year our didactics are as below[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1766507508689{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;background-color: #DDDDDD !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-1 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\">\n<p><strong>Mondays 1<sup>st<\/sup>: 12:00-1:00 Peer Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mondays 2<sup>nd<\/sup>: 12:00-1:00 Resident Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mondays 4<sup>th<\/sup>: 9:00-11:00 Rancho Neurobehavior Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesdays 4<sup>th<\/sup>: At Long Beach VA: Neuroradiology Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Wednesdays (weekly):<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At Rancho 8:00-10:00 Epilepsy Surgery Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At Harbor 12:00-2:30 Department of Neurology Grand Rounds and Didactics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grand Rounds lectures are often clinically focused or sometimes involve an update of the latest scientific advances in the neurosciences. Didactics range from faculty led lectures, to case conference, to journal club and more.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Fridays (weekly)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7:30-8:00 (Virtual) Multiple Sclerosis Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8:00-9:00 (Virtual) Neuroradiology Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Neurology and Neurosurgery teams attend with a neuroradiology attending leading the session.
