Notice: Pedestrian Routing \u2013 North Drive Closure<\/p>\n

Beginning Tuesday, August 19, and continuing through the end of January 2026, North Dr. will be closed. A new signed pedestrian detour will be in place for the duration of this work.<\/p>\n

Led by Los Angeles County Public Works, this construction project is building new spaces to help more people and make the hospital even better.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not just about adding buildings\u2014it\u2019s about helping the planet too. The new designs will use less energy, include materials from nearby, and recycle as much construction waste as possible.<\/p>\n

New Facilities Include:<\/p>\n

  • A\u00a0<\/span>nine-story hospital<\/span>\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span>347 beds<\/span>, enhancing inpatient care and emergency\u00a0services;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A\u00a0<\/span>6-story clinic building<\/span>\u00a0that\u00a0consolidates\u00a0outpatient services into a single, accessible\u00a0location;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A\u00a0<\/span>1,500-space parking structure<\/span>\u00a0to improve access for patients, visitors, and\u00a0staff;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A\u00a0<\/span>new laboratory building<\/span>\u00a0to support advanced diagnostics and\u00a0research;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Two support buildings<\/span> to streamline operations and improve service delivery<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
