Nephrology Grand Rounds/Conferences

  1. Nephrology Grand Rounds:
    Mondays from 1:30 to 3:00 PM (PBLI Discussion: 2:30 to 3:00 PM; Grand Round: 1:30 to 2:30 PM)
  2. Journal Club:
    Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:30PM
  3. Bi-Monthly Transplant-Infectious Diseases conferences
  4. Monthly Renal Biopsy Conference
  5. Monthly Research Conference
  6. VA Greater Los Angeles (GLA)-wide weekly Pathophysiology conference:
    Mondays from 12:30 to 1:30PM
  7. Crash course for fellows:
    Runs each July and August. Simulation labs and about 20 didactic lectures
    on what a neophyte renal fellow needs to know right away!
  8. In-depth Dialysis course:
    Runs every other year from September to June. About 20 didactic lectures on
    care of the patient with ESRD, and the economics of care of these patients.
