The test for Coronavirus (COVID-19) is free. Call your clinic or the COVID-19 Nurse Advice Line at 844-804-0055 for medical advice. Currently, we are testing patients who have symptoms. To schedule an appointment at a LA County test site, go to covid19.lacounty.gov/testing.
If I am healthy, can I visit my family member at the hospital?
In most cases, no. Routine visitors are not allowed until the spread of COVID-19 is no longer a threat to our patients, staff and community. We encourage you to keep in touch with your family and loved ones through other options such as Skype, FaceTime or the phone in the patient’s room.
We are here to keep you safe and healthy during this coronavirus outbreak.
The best thing you can do today is to avoid crowds or groups of any size. The practice of “social distancing” is very important to help protect the most vulnerable of our communities.
To further protect you and our workers, the clinic you normally receive primary care at has stopped seeing patients in-person for the time being. They are providing care through phone visits instead. If you have a scheduled in-person visit, your care team will call you to change this to a phone visit. Your appointment will not be cancelled.
We are here for you.
You will still be able to speak with your medical provider and get the care you need through a phone visit. If a doctor needs to see you after a phone visit, you will be scheduled at an appropriate location.
Here is the list of clinics that for the time being have stopped seeing patients in-person and are providing care through phone visits.
