Nursing Skills Laboratory

Provides: 

• Two skills labs equipped to provide opportunities for pre-licensure nursing students to practice semester specific skills and apply critical thinking principles in a patient simulated environment.
• Two additional skills labs equipped with crash carts, monitors, defibrillators, and life support manikins which enable post-licensure nursing students to practice and test for specialty certification.
• Practice situations using computer simulation manikins and clinical scenarios Coordinated by the Skills Lab coordinator. Students practice essential nursing skills in preparation for clinical practice.
