Curriculum Plan
The focus of the educational program is to prepare a graduate who meets the Standard of
Competent Performance as defined in California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Section 1443.5, Article 4.
The program addresses patient health problems which require nursing actions in
assisting individuals, families and communities in maintaining health.
The curriculum is planned to enable the student who has completed the educational
requirements to earn an Associate of Science degree in Nursing and to be eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN).
