Women’s Health Services are designed to improve the health and well-being of women across the life-span. Women’s Health providers are trained to provide essential medical services and assess the unique needs of patients socio-economic determinants of health, family planning, and disease risk. Women’s Health services include mammograms, cancer screenings, OB/GYN and pregnancy-related services. No-cost coverage programs such as Strong Start (MAMA’s Neighborhood), Family PACT, and Every Woman Counts (EWC) provide essential health screening and pregnancy-related benefits to help you and your baby stay healthy.
If you are a current DHS patient, talk to your Primary Care provider about Women’s Health services and the programs listed above for which you may qualify. If you are not a DHS patient and do not have health care coverage, visit one of the DHS clinic locations listed below that offer Women’s Health Primary Care to find a provider and get linked to services.
