Reporting Quality Concern
QIPS works with the County's healthcare facilities to address patients' concerns regarding the care provided at the facilities. Patients may report a quality or safety concern using the following:
QIPS works with the hospitals and clinics to respond to patient concerns. You may report a concern to QIPS using our hotline phone number or email address: (213) 989-7233 or (800) 611-4365 or firstname.lastname@example.org. You should hear from us within 3 business days.

Joint Commission Office of Quality Monitoring
The public may contact the Joint Commission's Office of Quality Monitoring to report any concern or make a complaint about a health care facility that is accredited by the Joint Commission by calling (800) 994-6610 or emailing: email@example.com.
California State Medical Board
Medical Doctors are licensed and regulated by the Medical Board of California. Specific concerns regarding Medical Doctors may be reported to the Medical Board of California.

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) often receives health-related complaints from the public regarding agencies other than CDPH.
