New Managed Care Patients
New patients must be part of a Medi-Cal Health Plan through LA Care or Health Net and be assigned to Bellflower Health Center as their medical home. Medi-Cal enrollments are coordinated by the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS). DPSS can be contacted at: http://dpss.lacounty.gov/ or 866-613-3777. New Walk-In Patients
Bellflower Health Center is not accepting new walk-in patients at this time. Uninsured patients with urgent medical issues may seek clinic services through the Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center Urgent Care. At the time of visit, patients will provided information about programs they may qualify for or referred to the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) for Medi-Cal eligibility.

Same-day appointments are given in person on a first-come, first-serve basis. We regret that there are only a limited number of appointments each day. Please bring copies of your photo ID and your current medications.
Current Bellflower Health Center patients who need a same-day or next-day appointment with their provider can call the appointment center at 562-804-8112. Same day appointments are given on a first-come, first-serve basis. We regret that there are only a limited number of appointments each day. However, if you need to speak with your Medical Home Team, you can call 562-804-8112 to speak with a nurse who can assist with your questions.
Bellflower Health Center patients who have a scheduled appointment will need to register for their appointments at the main registration area. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and bring your photo ID, your clinic cards and current medications. You will be asked to verify your address, phone number and health plan information.

If you are uninsured, an L.A. County resident, and meet certain requirements, you may be able to qualify for Medi-Cal or one of our low-cost health programs. The Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) will conduct a financial screening and will provide you with options. To apply for an L.A. County-sponsored, low-cost health program, please note that you will be asked for copies of your recent income, a government-issued photo ID, address verification and other documentation as needed. If you have a share-of-cost or have an outstanding balance on your bill, you can make in-person payments at the cashier or mail in your payment to the Billing Office. The cashier is available Monday – Friday from 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. We accept cash, check and major credit cards in person at the Cashier.
