About Us

The H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center is a trusted source of high quality health care in the community, offering a full spectrum of primary and specialty care services to a diverse patient population. Located on the site of the former John Wesley Hospital, the present clinic opened in 1979 and was named after the civil rights pioneer, community leader, and prominent businessman H. Claude Hudson. The Health Center will celebrate its 37th anniversary in 2016.

Hudson Health Center and other DHS outpatient facilities are transforming care through the creation of primary care medical homes, where patients see the same provider on every visit and care is always coordinated. This patient-centered approach to care places focus on wellness and disease-prevention in a caring and safe environment.
