Follow-up within seven days of a hospitalization may improve how well patients do after they leave the hospital. We do our best to contact patients by phone and see them in the clinic if necessary.

NOTE: Antelope Valley Health Center patients had no hospitalizations in August 2016.

Rate of Mammography Screening in Women 50-74 Years of Age

Screening mammogram should be done at least once every two years to detect breast cancer in women 50-74 years of age. When detected early, breast cancer is usually curable.
